French Montana is the new face of boohooMAN, as he’s teamed up with the retailer for a new collection that he has co-designed.
Bringing a Moroccan influence to the pieces, there are bold patterns and vivid colours in Montana’s collection for the more fashion forward out there, with a strong focus on the sports luxe trend throughout the 65 piece capsule.
This is not the first of the collaborations that boohoo has put together on the menswear front recently either. Collections with Quincy, Tyga and Rae Sremmurd have offered fans to take a leaf out of their favourite musicians’ style playbook, and they’ve done the same here with Montana’s latest drop.
Some of the standout pieces in the collection centre around the patterns that highlight the Mediterranean and Moroccan influences that inspired the range. While these prints are obvious in the statement pieces like co-ord tracksuits, they can been seen running through everything from shirts to joggers here.
Although the weather is getting warmer, a couple of jackets caught our eye when the pieces appeared online. In particular, the Aztec print Harrington jacket is a modern take on a classic piece that works well with denim or chinos, while the Moroccan print bomber is an easy to match pattern that would pair well with black jeans and a tee.
If you’re looking to dip your toe in without going all out on a pattern, the Tribal sweater and short set is another good option. The neutral stone colour is the focus, but a stripe of vibrant colour running from shoulder to cuff gives this basic staple a streetwear edge.
With pieces starting at just €15, there’s a wide selection to choose from that won’t break the bank, and will introduce a bit of colour into your wardrobe too for the warmer summer months.
